Phantom Screens are incredibly easy to maintain, since they usually remain retracted during the cold and snowy months of the year. They can be easily cleaned and we do recommend cleaning at least once or twice a year.
You can do it yourself with mild detergent and water, or you can call us and we’ll come do a full-service cleaning for you to get your screens ready for the warm season. Should any parts of your screens need a tune-up, we will also come in and fix everything right up.
Yes! Once you contact Phantom Screens we will come to your home and take detailed measurements of your windows and doors. Once we have all the measurements, we can prepare an estimate of the cost for you.
Yes! We can fit screens to a wide variety of openings in your home. Our screens will fit all types of windows, from single-hung windows, double-hung windows, casement and awning windows, sliding windows, and tilt n’ turn windows.
We offer different types of mesh, depending on your needs—whether you want protection from insects, natural ventilation, increased privacy, improved daylight, or solar heat control.
Unlike common stationary window screens, which are made of thin metal wire, the mesh in our screens are made from a flexible plastic with more give that makes them more difficult to tear. As much as your cat may try to claw, or your dog may try to bite through, they won’t get far with our retractable screens on your window.
You can choose designer colours or wood grain finishes for your screens, regardless of whether you want them to stand out or blend seamlessly with your home.
